Sidi Technology: Cleat Assembly, Millennium 2 Sole |
New MILLENNIUM 3 Sole
The NEW Millennium 3 sole is a sleek, modern redesign of the Millennium 2 sole. By fortifying the sole with carbon fiber, SiDi designers have created a new sole that improves on the technical characteristics of the previous nylon sole.
The Millennium 3 sole is constructed out of injected carbon fiber in a nylon matrix. The infusion of carbon fiber gives the sole 36% more rigidity than the previous Millennium 2 sole. The Millennium 3 sole is also more durable and less susceptible to changes in stiffness resulting from prolonged usage and changes in temperature.
The Millennium 3 sole features a new replaceable non-slip polyurethane heel pad. To prevent the screw attaching the heel pad from loosening over time, the heel pad is held in place by two rivets
The Millennium 3 is compatible with the best road pedals on the market.
To facilitate cleat replacement, the Millennium 3 sole features a 10 mm horizontal and vertical cleat alignment scale molded into the sole as well as the Look Memory Eyelet.
Information on how to assemble the cleats of the most known pedals present on the market is below.
Due to continuous changes and new products, it is not possible to indicate the features of all existing pedals.
When fixing the cleat of your pedal to the sole of your SIDI Millennium 2 sole, the forward-most screw must not penetrate beyond the base of your cleat by more than 6mm into the sole. For the rearward securing screws, they must not penetrate beyond the base of your cleat more than 7mm into the sole. Use of the wrong length screws could damage your shoes and void the warranty.
